Clinical Services
Our therapy services and support groups are designed to provide a safe and nurturing space for survivors of violence to heal from trauma, find their strength, and rebuild their lives. We understand that the journey of survivors can be challenging, and we are here to support you every step of the way.
YWCA Kaua’i launched the Sexual Assault Treatment Program in 1982 and the Sex Abuse Treatment Program in 1995. We continue to strive to improve the emotional, mental, and behavioral wellness of our community today.
Therapy Services
We provide trauma-informed, client-centered, and culturally-sensitive therapy services in a safe and confidential environment. Therapy services are free to survivors of sexual assault and their families.
Our therapists are Master’s level marriage and family therapists, mental health counselors, or clinical interns working under the supervision of licensed therapists. Our therapists specialize in issues relating to family and/or sexual violence, namely intimate partner violence, sexual assault, and sexual abuse.
